You can register BladePro online via credit card using the Kagi Online Order Processing service.
Alternatively, you can use the "Register" application that came with Blade to create a customized form, which you then send to Kagi, whose address is given on the form. Several different means of payment are supported.
After Kagi processes your payment, which takes a few days, they e-mail you the registration code in a message with the subject "Thanks for your payment". If you don't have e-mail, you will get the code on a postcard instead.
Lastly, click the "register" button inside the BladePro filter, and type in your code.
The latest updates are available on the Blade page.
Although Kagi cannot provide technical support for the software, the author is more than willing to answer questions.
Which registration code should I get?
If you have never registered the older version of Blade, then get a BladePro code for US$25.
If you already have a code for the older version of Blade - a code that starts with the letter W - then you can get a BladeUpgrade code for US$10.
What do I do with the registration code once I've got it?
To enter the registration code, do this:
- Bring up the filter.
- There should be a button called "Register" near the "OK " button. Click the "Register" button.
(If there is no "Register" button, it means somebody has already input the code on this particular computer, and so you're already finished.)
- A new dialog box will appear. Type your code into the proper blank.
- If you are using a BladeUpgrade code, you may also need to type in your old Blade code now.
- Click OK.
- A thank-you message will appear. You're done.
